| Correo electrónico | Lo escribes tú | No |
| Si asistes, cuántas personas te acompañan y cuántos niños | Lo escribes tú | Sí |
| Menú que elegiste | Lo escribes tú | No |
| Alergias o condiciones médicas | Lo escribes tú | No · ver el punto 3 |
| Mensaje o felicitación | Lo escribes tú | No |
No guardamos tu dirección IP.
No vendemos tus datos.
For event guests · Last updated: 11 August 2026
You confirmed you were coming to a party, and to do that you typed your name and phone number. This page says what we do with that, in plain language.
Short version: we send you your pass and event updates, and nothing else. We will not send you marketing unless you deliberately turn it on, and you can turn everything off at any time without creating an account.
Vogelum, based in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, is the data controller (responsable) for your personal data. Vogelum is the platform that runs the invitation you opened.
This matters for a practical reason: you do not have to chase the venue or whoever invited you to get your data deleted. You write to us, and we answer, within 20 business days at most.
The venue hosting your event also sees your data, because it needs to know who is coming, how many seats to hold and what you will eat. It uses it for that. If you get something from the venue you did not ask for, tell us anyway and we will stop it.
Only this, and you type nearly all of it yourself:
| Data | Where it comes from | Required? |
|---|---|---|
| First and last name | You type it | Yes |
| Phone number | You type it | Yes · without it there is nowhere to send your pass |
| Email address | You type it | No |
| Whether you are coming, how many guests and children | You type it | Yes |
| Menu choice | You type it | No |
| Allergies or medical conditions | You type it | No · see section 3 |
| Message or note | You type it | No |
| Country you connected from | Automatic | — |
| Short browser name | Automatic · 80 characters | — |
| Date and time you accepted | Automatic | — |
| A partial fingerprint of your connection | Automatic · see below | — |
| Time your pass was scanned at the door | Only if you attend | — |
| Photographs of you | Only if you use the event photo booth | No |
We do not store your IP address. We keep only a fragment of it and a hashed fingerprint, and only in the ledger that records what you consented to and when. It protects you as much as us; it cannot be used to locate you.
We use no advertising cookies, no Facebook or Google pixels, and we do not profile you. We neither buy nor sell contact lists.
That field is the only one that can contain health information, which Mexican law treats as sensitive data with stronger protection than the rest.
Honest tip: if what you want is to flag an allergy, write only the allergy. The kitchen does not need a diagnosis, a medication or a medical history to know you cannot eat nuts.
You typed your phone number precisely so that something would reach you. That includes:
There is no checkbox for this because it would be meaningless: if you say no, there is no way to deliver the pass you came for. What you can do is cancel your attendance, and then we stop writing to you.
There are two further things we could do, and they need a deliberate yes from you:
The confirmation form no longer asks for these. We removed them: you gave your phone number to receive your pass, not to be sold to. They are off by default and only turn on if you go into your preferences and switch them on.
Refusing has no consequence. Your pass still arrives, you still get in, and you still have your table.
The message containing your pass has a link to your preferences. There you can see, with dates, what you authorised, and switch it off with one tap. No account, no password, no asking anyone's permission.
If you lost that link, write to arco@vogelum.com from the email you registered, or send a WhatsApp from your number, and we will resend it.
Turning off promotions does not take away your pass. They are separate things and they are built that way.
Two kinds of people, and neither does as it pleases with it.
The venue or host sees your name, your confirmation, your guests and your menu, because it needs them to receive you. We do not hand over your health data beyond what is needed for your meal or your access.
These are processors: they process on our behalf, under contract, and may not use your data for their own purposes.
| Who | What for | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare | Hosting the invitation and the database | United States and global network |
| Twilio | Sending WhatsApp messages and SMS | United States |
| Resend | Sending emails | United States |
Their being outside Mexico is called an international transfer, which is why we tell you here rather than hiding it.
We do not sell your data. We do not pass it to advertisers, other event suppliers, or social networks. We would only hand it to an authority that requests it in writing and in accordance with the law.
Mexican law gives you four, known as ARCO rights:
Exercise them by writing to arco@vogelum.com. Tell us what you want, which phone or email you confirmed with, and which event. We answer within 20 business days at most.
We do not ask for official ID for simple requests. Writing from the same contact you confirmed with is enough to stop messages or delete your data. We would only verify your identity if you ask for a full copy of your information, so that we do not hand it to someone who is not you.
If you believe we got it wrong, you may take it to the Mexican data protection authority.
Many of these events are quinceañeras, christenings and children's parties.
Your data travels encrypted, access is limited to those who need it, and passes carry codes that cannot be guessed. No system is infallible; if a breach ever occurred that significantly affected you, we would tell you, as the law requires.
If we change something important, we update the date above and publish the new version at this same address. If the change broadens what we use your data for, we tell you through the same channel your pass arrived on, before it takes effect.
This page is for people confirming attendance. If you hired Vogelum to run your events, yours is the platform privacy policy and the terms of service.
This notice describes how the system actually works and is drafted under Mexico's Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties. It is not a substitute for review by a data protection lawyer.
